Why Aspen Hospice?
Perhaps the greatest strength of Aspen Hospice is that we strongly believe in the hospice concept and its benefits to our clients. Each of our staff members has been intimately involved with hospice care for many years. Each has been privileged to share first hand unique lessons, life experiences and gifts that hospice brings to its patients and their families. Aspen Hospice is the hospice of choice because:
- We are independent, locally owned and operated. This gives us the flexibility to serve individual’s needs.
- We serve Ravalli County, Missoula County and surrounding areas.
- We know and understand our community; and the service agencies available to assist you.
- We focus only on expert hospice care. We do not dilute the quality of our services by expanding into other endeavors.
Stability
The caring, experienced professionals who join our team stay over the long term and add their experience to the rich pool of talent and skills available to our patients and their families.
Diversity
Aspen Hospice utilizes many specialists, including physicians, pharmacists, social workers, physical therapists and nurses trained in expert hospice care. With such diversity of experience, we know our patients get the very best in care and symptom management.
Experience and Expertise
Our Medical Director is a board certified Family Practice physician with years of experience in private practice, and more than six years of hospice experience.
Our Registered Nurses bring years of experience and expertise to every phase of our hospice care services. In addition, our Medical Social Workers, Chaplains, and certified Home Health Aides are experienced in hospice environments. Our volunteers are trained and certified to equip them with skills needed for their work.
Commitment to Quality Care
Aspen Hospice strives to provide levels of personal care that exceed industry averages in practically every category. For example, in most cases, our patient visits by nurses, home health aides, social workers, volunteers and chaplains are more frequent than national or state averages.
Flexibility
At Aspen Hospice, there is a direct line of communication between the patient, the family, the caregivers and our administrators. That means we are responsive and adaptive in meeting each patient’s unique needs.
