At Aspen Hospice every person is valued as a physical, emotional and spiritual being, connected to the world through family, friends and community. Our team of specially trained hospice experts meet regularly to ensure our patients are as comfortable and pain free as possible. The most important members of the team are the patients and their families, who, along with the hospice team, determine the plan of care. Aspen Hospice works closely with families to provide personal, attentive, and responsive care.
The Hospice Team provides education and support, so the patient and/or family or designated Power of Attorney are empowered to make the best choices regarding end of life care and comfort.
Professional members of the Hospice Team include: the patient’s primary Physician, Medical Director, Nursing Staff, Hospice Aides, Homemakers, Medical Social Workers, Spiritual Care, Music Thanatologists, Volunteers, and Bereavement Services.
Our Care Team members bring their individual talents together to provide care and support to patients and their families.
